This has been a rough three months for Kanye West. Last week, he was sued by Jordan Outdoor Enterprises claiming that his Yeezy Season 5 camouflage print pants stole from their Realtree camouflage print.
As of today, Kanye West experienced another legal hardship of officially losing the Yeezy Boost trademark to Chinese firm Fujian Baby Network Technology Co,
Kanye West already owns the Yeezy trademark for footwear, but lost the rights for the clothing back in 2017. The Chinese firm legally acquired the Yeezy Boost trademark in 2017 when it became available for purchase. Kanye West reportedly attempted to re-file for the trademark, but was unsuccessful and informed that the Yeezy Boost name was no longer available.
Fujian Baby Network Technology Co, can now use the term “Yeezy Boost” for its clothing products with Kanye West facing legal penalties if he tries to do the same.
