Top 14 Long Island thrift stores for furniture + local online shopping.

Thrift shopping for furniture and home decor is fun when adding life to your new apartment, or restyling the interior of your home; especially when you’re trying to save money.

Thrift stores on Long Island have a plethora of items to choose from thanks to active donations from the residents of both Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Even better, some Long Island thrift stores based in Nassau County are close enough for Queens and Brooklyn residents to venture to within a reasonable amount of time.

But wait, there’s more.

You can’t forget about local online shopping. That’s a savings grace within itself.

You can view an even larger selection than you would in-person.

Local pick-up is always the best when your goal is to stay within the free range as shipping can get pricey.
