Top 9 vintage anime shirts eBay members buy and resell.

In the 90’s, I was an avid anime and manga fan. Some of my favorites were:

  • Dragon Ball Z

  • Ghost in the Shell

  • Gundam Wing

  • Yu Yu Hakusho

I can still hear myself yelling out Goku’s energy attack, “Kamehameha.”

To be honest, I would definitely catch up on some of my favorite vintage anime. Thing is, I’m always busy though, in motion from place to place.

The other day one of my students came into class with a reprint of an Akira anime shirt which sparked the thought.

Why have I never actively thrifted for an original anime shirt from the 80's or 90’s?

Granted, it would be a stroke of luck to find in the various clothing racks of Long Island or LIC Goodwill Bins, which brings me to the internet.

You would have a much easier time sourcing vintage anime shirts from second-hand marketplaces like eBay or Etsy.

So I took a look on eBay which boasts 187 million users and 1.6 billion active listings.

After much research (and a lot of lurking US eBay stores), I was able to locate the top 9 vintage anime shirts eBay members buy and resell. That way, you too can buy an original anime shirt, or know what vintage anime shirts to look out for during your thrift adventures.
